Collie Adventure Race
The Collie Adventure Race is held on the second Saturday in October, against a backdrop of the the picturesque countryside, river and bushland of the Collie River Valley. The race is a relay which centres on Minninup Pool just out of town; all legs are "out and back". Participation is invited from individuals or teams.
The stages are:
- A 25km road bike race along Mungalup Road,
- A 15km horse circuit through bushland south of Collie (optional),
- A 10 km canoe paddle along the Collie River,
- A 1km swim in the Collie River at Minninup Pool,
- A 25km mountain bike circuit into jarrah forest north west of Minninup Pool,
- A 10km footrace in bushland west of town.
